Refund Policy.
Effective Date: May 4, 2026
Platform Operator: PermaShip, Inc., a Delaware corporation
Support: hello@permaship.ai · Legal: legal@permaship.ai
This Refund Policy explains when CEO Arcade payments, credits, Operational Cost deductions, hard costs, and approved work may or may not be refundable. It is incorporated into the CEO Arcade Terms of Service and Operator Agreement.
CEO Arcade no longer uses a separate activation event as the basis for refunds. After purchase, you may receive access to Mission Control immediately, and your cabinet may begin incurring obligations, approved work, app-building activity, Operational Costs, hard costs, or credit deductions based on your decisions and the cabinet's usage.
- Refunds are generally available only for amounts that have not been used, reserved, spent, incurred, or tied to irreversible costs.
- Domains, external hard costs, completed work, and incurred Operational Costs are generally non-refundable.
- Unused purchased credits may be refundable within the refund window described below.
- Earned Credits are not refunds; they are business proceeds governed by the Credit & Economy Policy.
- If CEO Arcade makes an error, we may refund, release credits, reperform work, or grant support credits depending on the issue.
1. General Refund Principles
CEO Arcade uses a credit-based operating model. Some payments buy access to operate a cabinet. Some payments buy credits. Some credit deductions pay for work, infrastructure, domains, AI execution, hosting, or other services. Some balances are business proceeds generated by real customer revenue.
Refundability depends on what the payment or credit was used for.
In general:
- Unused and unreserved amounts are more likely to be refundable.
- Used, reserved, settled, completed, or externally incurred amounts are generally not refundable.
- Hard Costs are generally not refundable once incurred.
- Operational Costs are generally not refundable once incurred or deducted.
- Earned Credits are not refunded because they are not a purchase; they are business proceeds subject to cashout rules.
- CEO Arcade may grant support credits for service failures, but support credits are not cash refunds unless we say otherwise.
2. Cabinet Reservation, Launch Pass, and Initial Purchase
A cabinet reservation, Launch Pass, or initial cabinet purchase may reserve a brand package, remove it from public inventory, create a business instance, create Mission Control access, begin app preparation, start App Factory work, provision resources, or begin other platform actions.
A cabinet reservation, Launch Pass, or initial cabinet purchase may be refundable only if all of the following are true:
- you request the refund within 14 days of purchase;
- you have not approved any hard-cost action;
- no domain has been registered for the cabinet;
- no paid third-party service has been activated for the cabinet;
- no App Factory, PermaShip, QA, engineering, deployment, infrastructure, or custom work has materially begun for the cabinet;
- no credits from the purchase have been spent, reserved, settled, or used for Operational Costs;
- there is no suspected fraud, abuse, payment-risk issue, or chargeback risk; and
- the cabinet can reasonably be returned to inventory or retired without external loss.
If any of those conditions is not true, the initial purchase is generally non-refundable. CEO Arcade may still choose to issue a partial refund, release unused credits, grant support credits, or provide another remedy at its discretion.
If CEO Arcade rejects your cabinet reservation for platform reasons before any credits, work, hard costs, or external costs are incurred, we will generally refund the cabinet reservation amount.
3. Mission Control Access
Because Mission Control may be provided immediately after purchase, access to Mission Control alone does not create a separate “activation” refund cutoff. Instead, refunds are determined by whether the underlying purchase, credits, work, hard costs, or Operational Costs have been used, reserved, incurred, or completed.
Once you use Mission Control to approve missions, spend credits, reserve credits, request work, purchase a domain, enable services, start app-building work, or otherwise create costs, refundability may be reduced or eliminated.
4. Monthly Subscriptions and Operator Plans
Recurring subscriptions and Operator Plans are billed in advance unless stated otherwise.
For recurring subscriptions:
- pro-rated refunds are generally not offered for partial months;
- cancellation stops future renewal charges but does not automatically refund the current billing period;
- subscription-granted credits may be governed by the Credit & Economy Policy and may expire, roll over, or be limited according to the plan;
- Operational Costs may be deducted from eligible credits, including subscription-granted credits where applicable;
- if you cancel, your cabinet may remain operational only while it has sufficient eligible credits or payment coverage for required Operational Costs; and
- if payment fails or eligible credits are insufficient, the cabinet may enter grace, suspension, or reclaim according to the Terms of Service and Operator Agreement.
If CEO Arcade is unable to provide a material portion of a paid subscription due to a platform-caused outage or platform-caused error, we may provide a refund, partial refund, support credits, service extension, or other remedy at our discretion.
5. Credit Packs and Purchased Credits
Purchased Credits are internal operating credits. They are not cash, stored value, legal tender, cryptocurrency, securities, bank deposits, or general-purpose payment instruments.
Unused Purchased Credits may be refundable within 14 days of purchase if:
- the credits have not been spent;
- the credits have not been reserved;
- the credits have not been used to pay Operational Costs;
- the credits have not been used for a domain, hard cost, app build, feature, branding action, QA run, infrastructure service, paid third-party service, or other approved mission;
- there is no suspected fraud, abuse, payment dispute, chargeback risk, or policy violation; and
- the refund is permitted by applicable law and payment processor rules.
Once Purchased Credits are spent, reserved, used, or tied to a cost, they are generally non-refundable. If reserved credits are not ultimately used because work is cancelled, fails, or comes in under budget, unused credits may be released back into the applicable credit balance rather than refunded as cash.
Purchased Credits cannot be withdrawn as cash. Only eligible Earned Credits may be withdrawn through the Credit & Economy Policy.
6. Monthly Credits, Promo Credits, and Bonus Credits
Monthly Credits, Promo Credits, support credits, launch grants, bonus credits, and promotional credits are generally non-refundable, non-withdrawable, non-transferable operating credits.
They may expire, roll over only up to a cap, or be forfeited on cancellation, suspension, reclaim, or account closure according to the plan, Mission Control disclosure, or Credit & Economy Policy.
CEO Arcade may grant support credits to resolve customer-service issues, but support credits are not cash refunds and cannot be withdrawn unless CEO Arcade expressly states otherwise in writing.
7. Operational Costs
Operational Costs are costs required to operate or support a cabinet. They may include hosting, compute, database, storage, bandwidth, domains, DNS, SSL, email, observability, QA, support tooling, PermaShip work, AI execution, app maintenance, deployment, infrastructure, and other costs attributable to the cabinet.
Mission Control will make you aware of upcoming Operational Costs when available. Those costs may depend on your decisions, feature approvals, domain purchases, infrastructure choices, customer usage, traffic, bandwidth, support volume, AI usage, database usage, and other cabinet activity.
Operational Costs are generally non-refundable once incurred or deducted. If an Operational Cost was charged or deducted incorrectly due to a CEO Arcade error, we may correct the error by refunding credits, releasing credits, applying support credits, reversing a charge, or otherwise adjusting the ledger.
If your credits or payment method are insufficient to cover required Operational Costs, your cabinet may enter grace, suspension, safe mode, or reclaim according to the Terms of Service and Operator Agreement.
8. Domains, DNS, and Other Hard Costs
Domain registrations are generally non-refundable once registered. Domain registrars typically do not refund completed registrations, and CEO Arcade cannot guarantee refunds for domain purchases.
Hard Costs may include:
- domain registrations;
- domain renewals;
- DNS or custom-hostname costs;
- infrastructure upgrades;
- paid advertising;
- third-party business tools;
- email services;
- external APIs;
- premium templates or assets;
- human QA or support services; and
- other irreversible or external costs identified in Mission Control.
Hard Costs are generally non-refundable once approved and incurred. If a domain registration, external service, or other Hard Cost fails before the provider charges us or before the cost is incurred, the reserved credits should generally be released back to the relevant credit balance.
Domain transfers, renewals, ownership changes, and buyout-related domain handling may be subject to additional rules, registrar restrictions, transfer locks, and fees.
9. Branding, Copy, Design, and Asset Work
Branding, copy, design, logo, color, positioning, and asset work may be non-refundable once generated, delivered, implemented, or otherwise made available to you.
If work is quoted and credits are reserved, unused reserved credits may be released after settlement. If the work materially differs from the approved quote because of a platform error, CEO Arcade may correct the work, rerun the work, release unused credits, grant support credits, or provide another remedy.
Minor dissatisfaction with subjective creative output does not automatically create a right to a cash refund, but CEO Arcade may offer revision options, regenerated assets, or support credits where reasonable.
10. Custom Feature Work, Engineering Work, App Factory Work, QA, and PermaShip Work
For app builds, custom features, bug fixes, QA, PermaShip work, App Factory work, infrastructure changes, or engineering work:
- credits may be reserved when you approve the quote or mission;
- work may begin after approval;
- unused reserved credits may be returned if the work is under budget or cancelled before use;
- completed work is generally non-refundable;
- work that materially fails the approved scope due to a platform error may be corrected, rerun, credited, or otherwise remediated; and
- over-budget work should pause for additional approval when required by the quote or platform rules.
Bug fixes caused by platform fault may be free, discounted, credited, or handled under support processes. Bug fixes caused by operator-requested customization, third-party changes, unusual usage, or external systems may be quoted and charged.
11. Customer Payments, Refunds, Chargebacks, and Earned Credits
Customer payments collected by a cabinet are not purchases of credits by the Operator. They are business revenue subject to processor fees, platform fees, Operational Costs, taxes, refunds, disputes, chargebacks, reserves, settlement windows, and cashout rules.
Earned Credits are not refunded to you because they are not a purchase. They may be eligible for cashout only after settlement, reserve, KYC, tax, account-good-standing, and payment-processor requirements are met.
Refunds issued to end customers and chargebacks may reduce your pending, reserved, available, or future Earned Credits. CEO Arcade may recover refunds, chargebacks, dispute fees, and negative balances according to the Terms of Service, Operator Agreement, and Credit & Economy Policy.
12. Failed Provisioning or Service Errors
If CEO Arcade fails to provision a resource, complete an approved mission, register a domain, create a deployment, configure DNS, run QA, or perform other work, the available remedy depends on the state of the work and the source of the failure.
CEO Arcade may:
- retry the work;
- route the work to PermaShip;
- escalate to support;
- release unused reserved credits;
- grant support credits;
- refund a cash charge if no credits or work were used;
- provide a partial refund where appropriate;
- place the cabinet into a safe state; or
- cancel or reverse the affected action.
CEO Arcade is not responsible for failures caused by inaccurate operator information, unsupported requests, third-party provider outages, registrar restrictions, payment processor restrictions, unlawful use, policy violations, or external systems outside CEO Arcade's control, except where required by law.
13. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting CEO Arcade first, we may suspend the affected account, freeze credits, pause cashout, suspend cabinets, disable features, or restrict future purchases while the dispute is investigated.
Chargebacks may result in:
- loss of access to credits purchased with disputed funds;
- reversal of related credit grants;
- suspension of approved missions;
- reversal of refund eligibility;
- increased reserve holds;
- KYC or additional verification requirements;
- account limitations; and
- termination for fraud or abuse.
Contact hello@permaship.ai before filing a chargeback so we can investigate and attempt to resolve the issue.
14. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email hello@permaship.ai from the email address associated with your CEO Arcade account.
Include:
- your name;
- account email;
- cabinet name;
- transaction date;
- payment amount;
- credit purchase or mission details, if applicable;
- a short explanation of the issue; and
- any relevant screenshots or Mission Control references.
CEO Arcade generally responds within two business days, although complicated refunds, payment processor issues, chargebacks, KYC issues, fraud reviews, or third-party provider issues may take longer.
15. Legal Requirements
Nothing in this Refund Policy limits any non-waivable consumer, payment, refund, or statutory rights you may have under applicable law. Where required by law, CEO Arcade will provide refunds or remedies consistent with that law.
This Refund Policy may be updated from time to time. Continued use of CEO Arcade after an updated policy takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
